Tropical theme wedding receptions are always in high demand.  And why not?  There is little  that evokes  such general feelings of peace, happiness, and good times like a tropical setting.  Even a  hint  of the warm beaches  evokes memories  of warm, sunny days with nothing to do but relish the ravisher of creation.   As such a wedding including a tropical theme wedding reception creates the perfect setting for a joyous celebration.

There are, of of course, any number of methods to begin building a tropical theme wedding reception, but consider beginning with footwear.  There is little that announces  unworried days at the beach better than the look and freedom  of barefoot sandals.  alternatively of running around in those painful high heeled shoes for the duration of the reception, slip into a pair of barefoot sandals made from your favorite assortment of crystals, beads, sea glass, and / or pearls and flit around your wedding reception in comfort with the knowledge that your barefoot sandals are as elegant  as they are comfortable – and they make distinguished and original keepsake bridesmaid gifts!

The next ingredient to pay attention to  in developing a tropical theme wedding reception is choosing a focal point for the decor of the venue.  The only rule here  is that it has to have a tropical theme and it must be big enough to command attention.  In many cases, this can be fulfilled  by choosing a larger wedding cake conception that is clearly tropical.  For instance, one might commission an ice sculpture depicting a favorite tropical theme image.  set strategically so it is the first thing the guests see when they enter the reception.  as well, the venue could be ringed with potted palm trees  rented from a local greenhouse, or a special gazebo for the newly married couple to dine in receive guests could be intentional to give a tropical feel.

Likewise, choose bamboo plants or beams placed carefully  around the room, and decorate the buffet or bar with hula themed items.  Or possibly hire a live band whose style  fit your specific tropical theme.  The key is to choose a featured focal point and layout your reception venue so the eye is drawn to that focal point as they enter, whoever, or whatever your focal point is.

Of course, any tables can play a role in developing  that tropical theme for the wedding reception as well.  The question at hand is how much is needful on the table.  Obviously, tables  in a natural tropical setting will need very little to promote the theme. Therefore, think with great diligence how much of an impact the focal point of the room design is going to make before moving on to the details of the smaller aspects of the room.  To often well meaning individuals  make the slip-up  of cluttering the room with a truck load  of little decor  elements.

When you do decide to add accent touches to the tables  in a tropical wedding reception something as simple as polish rocks around a candle or sea shells inside a large vase with a branch of blooming tropical flowers of to match the particular decor choices.  Other options include well placed beach theme wedding favors that will continue to build the mood of a truly tropical wedding reception celebration.
